Trail Riding
2008 Pigeon River-Elk Hill Trail Rides

May and August trail rides are club sponsored events. The cost is $3.00/day per person. Money is due prior to the weekend to reserve your spot. Location: Elk Hill Overflow Campground.

Trail Riding
The Alpena Horsemen's Club sponsors two annual trail rides during the spring and fall in Michigan. This is a great opportunity to ride, laugh, and enjoy Michigan's beauty from horseback. Enjoy a slow relaxed ride or long adventurous ride while viewing Michigan's majestic wildlife and landscapes.

Safety is foremost; please understand and know your horses abilities beforehand. Yet, we plan an annual pot luck dinner for campers. We enjoy evening campfires where smores, singing, and story-telling have become tradition. The club invites you to share these great times with us.

All horse breeds are welcome. The club is family-oriented and dog-friendly. Some of the members do take the dogs on the trails. We do require participants to be club members to attend the trail rides.
